Hyderabad, September 30, 2024: BSNL is a central public sector undertaking under the ownership of Department of
Telecommunications, which is part of the Ministry of Communications, Government of India with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. The central public sector undertaking was established on 1 st October 2000 by the Government of India.
As part of BSNL Formation day Silver Jubilee Celebrations, HYD BA has conducted
painting competitions to school children across Hyderabad which received a good response with more than 1800 students participating in the event.
On the eve of silver jubilee celebrations, a commemorative Balloon will be hoisted by
Sri G.Ratna Kumar, CGM Telangana Circle at Telephone Bhavan, Saifabad on 30-09-2024 along with Sri. M.Chandra Shekhar, Principal General Manager, Hyderabad Business Area. The inauguration will be followed by Prize distribution to the winners of the Painting Competitions and other cultural activities at Asman Mahal Auditorium, Khairatabad on 01-10-2024 from 11AM onwards.

Latest Developments:
BSNL Hyderabad is EBITDA Positive in Q1 of 2024-25 compared to previous year.
BSNL has installed135 Nos of MAAN equipment with a capacity of 10GB and 100GB to
facilitate high speed internet to 4G and Enterprise customers.
BSNL Hyderabad has added more than 1 Lakh Mobile customers in Aug-24 itself due to
the huge response from esteemed customers.
BSNL has introduced SARVATRA WIFI – through which BSNL FTTH customers can enjoy
high speed Internet over Wi-Fi while roaming away from Home.
A centralized Network Operation Centre (CNOC) has been established to resolve the
issues of TIPs and other channel partners to provide 24x7 uninterrupted services to
Customers.
In addition to all this, BSNL Assets are being rented / leased out to improve revenue.
BSNL attractive Plans:
Many attractive FTTH plans starting from Rs.249 viz., Fiber Basic Super plan for Rs. 699
per month (100 Mbps upto 4000 GB), Fiber Value Plus plan for Rs. 849 per month(150
Mbps till 5000GB) etc are offered to Customers with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps on par
with other TSPs.
In Mobile segment, most popular Plan, FRC 249 is offered for Rs. 249 with a validity of 45
Days in addition to PV_2399(395 Days validity) and PV_1999(365 Days Validity).
