Hyderabad, 18 April 2025: The Global Oral Cancer Trust is organizing an Oral Cancer Awareness Run on Sunday, 20th April at 6:00 AM at T-Works, with a mission to raise awareness about the increasing threat of oral cancer, especially among the youth.
This initiative is a call to action against the consumption of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs—the major culprits behind the rising oral cancer cases. These substances not only harm the individual but also have a lasting impact on future generations.
Despite the fact that early detection of oral cancer offers a 100% recovery rate, awareness remains dangerously low in India. Most people seek medical help only when symptoms become severe and difficult to ignore.
Through this marathon, we aim to educate, engage, and empower the public to recognize early signs, avoid harmful habits, and take proactive steps toward a healthier future.
We invite everyone—young and old—to participate and show support for this noble cause. Your presence can make a significant difference in securing the health of future generations.
Let us unite and run for awareness, for health, and for a cancer-free tomorrow.
Join us and make this event a grand success!
