Hyderabad, November 02, 2024: Hyderabad to be the host to the biggest ever Seminar on Fire and related subjects on Pharma Industry.
Known as FESA 24, it is the National Seminar on Fire, Electrical, Security and Automation (FESA). It will be a two-day event to be held at HICC, Madhapur on 7 the 8th. It will be organized by Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI).
Disclosing this addressing a press conference in the city at Hotel Plaza in Greenlands, Mr. Srinivas Valluri, National President, FSAI; Mr. Prasad Nishtala, Chapter President, FSAI Hyderabad; Mr. Prasad Raju S, Regional Director-South, FSAI; Mr. Manoj Balakrishnan, Chair FSAI Branding; Mr. P. Sravan Kumar, Vice Chair-FSAI Operations and Mr. Chandra Sekhar K, Secretary FSAI Hyd Chapter said that 300 Senior Managers from various pharma industries will participate and deliberate in the seminar. Representatives of over 100 pharma companies including 50 top pharma companies will participate.
Hyderabad is the hub for pharmaceutical companies not only in India but in the entire South East Asia. A lot of fire accidents were broken in Pharma industries in the recent past. In this light of background this national conference is happening in Hyderabad informed Mr. Srinivas Valluri, the national president of the FSAI. He is the first ever Telugu man to become the National President of the 22 years old body.
Though we are part of the advisory group of the proposed Skill University of the Government of Telangana, we are also exploring a possible association to offer structured training on fire. We are planning to open a Skill Development Center, a 3rd one in Mumbai and another in Hyderabad very soon. We are also planning to open a Chapter in Dubai, he said. The panel discussion will be held on topics such as Risk in Pharma industry and strategy to overcome and Latest trends Safety and Security in Pharma Industries.
In the past fire accidents used to take place at a particular place where there was a fire. But, that is not the case now. Fire accidents can happen anywhere at any time. Fires can be caused by many things. A mobile phone in hand can explode, an e-vehicle in a parking space can catch fire. It can also occur at any structures, may be at a home or at a workplace or in a hospital or in a public place like theatre, cinema hall, Mall etc. Fire in any occupancy has the potential to cause harm to its occupants and serious damage to property. Fire management, Mr. P. Sravan Kumar, Vice Chair-FSAI Operations says is important in the pharmaceutical industry because of the high risk of fire from flammable materials, dusts, combustible liquids, and high ceilings.
