BIF News service Mahabubnagar: A teacher Kolla Narasimhulu serving as Head master at Ippaturu Government High school has bagged ‘AURO Scholars’ award for encouraging the students to take part in online quiz programme.


Palamuru teacher Kolla Narasimhulu serving as Head master at Ippaturu Government High school has bagged ‘AURO Scholars’ award for encouraging the students to take part in online quiz programme. The award was given to the teacher by Mahabubnagar District Education Offiecr Usha Rani in Mahabubnagar on Wednesday.


Going into the details, Kolla Narasimhulu after learning about the ‘Zero Investment Innovation Award’ quiz programme promoted by Aurobindo Educational Society taken up all over India from a fellow teacher, he began encouraging the school students and even students from elsewhere to take part in the online quiz programme and motivated as many as 29 school students to register on the online quiz application and helped them earn while learning.


While speaking to Hans india, the HM Narasimhulu said, “The AURO Scholars online quiz programme is being promoted by Aurobindo Education Society. In this online quiz programme any student from 1st class onwards to Post Graduation can enroll and participate. There will be 20 courses and for each course 10 quiz questions will be provided. If any student answers at least 8 questions then they will be given Rs. 50 as scholarship. If the students complete all the 20 courses then they can easily earn Rs. 1000. This is a good opportunity for the poor students from the economically weaker families, wherein they can earn even while they are learning,” said the HM.


Giving more details about the programme the School HM said that among all the states teachers from Chattisgarh state bagged first position by enrolling 140 students, while teachers from Assam state bagged 2nd position and from Telangana which stood at 6th place got awards for 3 teahecrs and from Palamuru region Kolla Narasimhulu is the only one person awarded with AURO award for encouraging the students to take part in the online quiz programme.


Mahabubnagar DEO Usha Rani congradulated the teacher and wished to take up many more such programmes and motivate the students and improve the quality of education in the district.
