Telangana Government to Host Annual Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanti Celebrations & Gaddar Telangana Film Awards


Hyderabad, March 2nd, 2025: In a landmark decision to promote arts and culture, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced that the Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanti Celebrations will now be held annually by the Telangana state government, akin to Tamil Nadu’s Thyagaraja Swamy worship festivals. Additionally, the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards will be hosted every Ugadi festival, recognizing and honoring talented artists in the state.

The 392nd Bhakta Ramadasu Jayanti Celebrations took place at LB Indoor Stadium under the auspices of the Telangana Government's Sangeeta Natak Academy. The event was graced by Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, BC Welfare & Roads Minister Mr. Ponnam Prabhakar, and Women & Child Welfare Minister Smt. Dhanasari Sitakka.
