ThunderPlus Launches India's First Woman EV Fast Charging Franchise in Hyderabad


Hyderabad, March 11, 2025: Marking International Women's Day with a significant step towards inclusivity in the EV sector, ThunderPlus has launched India’s first Women EV Fast Charger Franchise in Hyderabad. The initiative is designed to empower women entrepreneurs by offering a structured business model in the growing electric vehicle charging sector.


This Franchise is a unique franchise model tailored specifically for women entrepreneurs, offering a comprehensive package that includes technology provision, installation, commissioning, branding, promotions, and business development support for EV charging stations. With an investment of ₹6 lakhs, franchisees are projected to achieve revenues of ₹12 lakhs over three years. The package features a 30KW DC 4-wheeler charger, complete with shed installation and operation. ThunderPlus ensures free maintenance for the first three years and provides a minimum business guarantee thus eliminate any business/ financial risk to the franchise partner. Additionally, there is a buyback guarantee at 50% of the initial investment after three years. Franchisees are required to provide the necessary space and power connection for setup.


This Franchise provides women with a turnkey solution to establish and operate EV charging stations. With an investment of ₹6 lakhs, franchisees gain access to a 30KW DC fast charger for four-wheelers, including installation, branding, and business development support. The model is structured to ensure financial viability, offering free maintenance for three years and a minimum business guarantee thus eliminate any business/ financial risk to the franchise partner.


The Charging station was inaugurated by Ms. Amrithaa Ponnam, CEO of INDCON who has been actively working among women groups in Telangana in the august presence of other dignitaries and women leaders from the Industry. She congratulated Ms. Tharini Pandey the franchise owner for her entrepreneurial spirit and emphasized that the initiative is in line with the vision of Hon. Chief Minister Sri.  Anumula Revanth Reddy garu of making women Crorepatis.

The first Woman Franchise was awarded to Ms. Tarini Pandey, a young MBA graduate who took the path of entrepreneurship unlike the regular 9 to 5 path, shared her excitement about the opportunity: "This initiative is not just a business venture; it's a step toward a greener and more inclusive future.
